Key responsibilities of a barista representative:

Customer service:

Greeting customers, taking orders accurately, providing recommendations based on customer preferences, and ensuring a positive interaction.
Coffee preparation:

Expertly preparing a range of coffee drinks including espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, and more, using proper techniques and equipment.
Coffee knowledge:

Understanding different coffee origins, roasts, brewing methods, and the ability to explain them to customers.
Cash handling:

Processing payments accurately and following cash handling procedures.
Inventory management:

Monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, cups, and other supplies, placing orders when necessary.
Equipment maintenance:

Properly cleaning and sanitizing espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
Workplace cleanliness:

Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including wiping down counters, sweeping floors, and taking out trash.
