Job Description
- Communicating: Relaying information between the teacher and the class
- Monitoring: Ensuring students are punctual and following rules like not using phones in class
- Reporting: Informing the teacher about issues like students not studying
- Representing: Ensuring the interests of all students are represented
- Scheduling: Keeping track of the semester schedule and reporting any needed changes to the teacher
- Building relationships: Developing good rapport with the students
Other teacher responsibilities:
- Creating and distributing educational materials
- Assessing and recording student progress
- Providing feedback and grades
- Managing classroom behavior
- Preparing students for the next grade
- Informing parents about their child's performance
- Mentoring new teachers and students
